The Keeper of the Web.

That's this particular website, not the whole WWW.  I'm not Al Gore.  But I had no idea what I was getting into when I innocently checked out NSync's HBO special three seven summers ago.  I've always been a huge music fan, but I snickered at boybands, just like everyone else.  The HBO special made me sit up and take notice, though.  Soon after, I saw a repeat of the Rosie O'Donnell show where the guys sang an a cappella version of "Happy Birthday."  That introduced me to their personalities and the fact that they can flat-out sing.  And it was all over from there.

I started this site just to have a place to share my concert pictures (which at the time were from only two shows) with my online friends.  Then I was suddenly going to four more shows on the PopOdyssey tour, and many, many more pictures followed.  Because of my obses--er, infatuation--with NSync, I have made some of the best friends I've ever had, learned a ton of computer skills, and had some amazing adventures which have taken me all over the country.  I'd say that's a pretty good return from a fandom.

On a more personal note... I feel like I should include this because it always strikes a chord with people:  I'm over 30 years old.  Not exactly your stereotypical boyband fan, but NSync is no stereotypical boyband, so I figure it evens out.  I love music, I love to take pictures, and I love to write, and I get to combine all of that in this fandom dedicated to a group of five terrific guys who provide me with endless inspiration.  What more could a girl ask for?
